ALL ABOARD FOR HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW: The Riverside Railroad Club at the Warren SCOPE Center, 220 W. Market St., will hold a Christmas open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. PHOTO EVENT HELPS AWL: Pet portraits with Santa Claus will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dog Depot, 8026 E. Market St., Warren. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
RIVALS RAISE FUNDS FOR THE PUBLIC: The Bristol BETA Club will hold the second annual "Rivals for a Cause" at 6 p.m. Friday at Bristol High School. The event includes a spaghetti dinner at $6 per person and a basketball game between Bristol and Southington teams. Tickets are at the door. Those attending are asked to bring a toy for the Warren Family Mission.
HELPING ANIMALS AT THE HOLIDAYS: Adopt an Angel is currently collecting items for local families and animal rescues in need. Anything from nonperishable food items, clothing, cleaning supplies, toiletries, animal related supplies, furniture will be collected.
