Tribune Chronicle |

YOUNGSTOWN - A Katherine Street man was shot twice as he was visiting a 31 Rutledge Drive home on the East Side early Monday evening.

Police called for gunfire at the home about 6:25 p.m. found 25-year-old Justin Johnson bleeding from wounds to the leg and torso after someone fired through a living room window.

The homeowner said she was sitting on the couch with Johnson and her 2-year-old daughter was also on the couch when someone in the front yard fired several shots from a .38-caliber revolver.

The girl was walking away from the couch when the shots were fired and was not harmed. Johnson was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment.
