RAVENNA - Josephine Isolina Foutz, 99, passed into eternal life Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at her daughter's residence in Virginia with family members at her side.
She was born Oct. 30, 1913, in Parlett, the daughter of Dominic and Isolina Casagranda Andreatta.
Josephine grew up in Columbiana County and married Roy E. Foutz. In 1942, they moved to Randolph, and during the war years, she worked at the Ravenna Arsenal.

Josephine moved to Ravenna in 1963. She worked in the banking field for 22 years before her retirement from Second National Bank in 1978.
She enjoyed reading and gardening; her flowers were her passion.
Memories of Josephine will be carried by her loving family; her daughters, Marilyn Langsdale of Miami, Fla., and Evelyn (Warren) Jackson of Warrenton, Va.; her son, William Foutz of Paris Township; her sisters, Mary Cullen of Phoenix, Julia Stear of West Farmington and Lucille Holko of Warren; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sylvio Andreatta, Fred Andreatta, Elinor Rehberg and Alma Burgoon; and her children's father, Roy Foutz.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Arnold Edmondson will be officiating. Josephine will be laid to rest in Lisbon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the ASPCA.
