AKRON -- A jury in Summit County Common Pleas Court has convicted 20-year-old Jamelle Jackson of one count of murder and 10 counts of felonious assault for a Feb. 6, 2011 shooting at an off-campus fraternity party.

Jackson will be sentenced Dec. 13 by Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge John Durkin for the death of 25-year-old Jamail Johnson and the wounding of 11 others at the Indiana Avenue fraternity house on the North Side.

One man has already been convicted of murder charges and two others have entered guilty pleas.

The case was moved to Summit County because of pretrial publicity.
