YOUNGSTOWN -- The Board of Control Thursday agreed to enter into a $6.1 million contract to build a new storage facility for the Water Department.
Water Commissioner Harry Johnson said it is hoped the work on the new facility at the department's main site on West Avenue can begin within the next 60 days. The facility is being replaced because it is obsolete, Johnson said.
The A.P. O'Horo company submitted the lowest bid for the project. Work should be done by next December, Johnson said.
