WARREN - A woman accused of cutting a man's ear has been charged with aggravated assault.
According to Warren police, Kassondra M. Murdock, 26, of 136 Charles Ave. S.E., attacked Ryan G. Magallon Jr., 22, 716 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, with a knife just after midnight on Wednesday.
Magallon told police that when he arrived at Murdock's residence to pick up some friends, one of them "was very upset with the other people" there.
Magallon said when he approached the house, Murdock came out with a knife and ran toward him, yelling at him to leave.
Magallon was struck in the left ear with the knife, according to reports.
Magallon told police that he grabbed the knife from Murdock, the two fought, and both of them fell to the ground.
Murdock told police that Magallon attacked her, hit her in the head several times, knocked her to the ground, banged her head off the cement in the driveway and caused several lacerations to the back of her head.
Police said Magallon refused treatment.
Police said Murdock was transported to a local hospital by a friend.
