WARREN - Clara A. Damiani, 85, entered peacefully into eternal rest at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center following a lengthy illness.
Clara was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of the late Benjamin and Clara Buccigrosse DiGiulio, and resided in Warren since 1960.
She was a graduate of Madison High School in Rochester and later was involved in interior design and was a homemaker.

Clara was a founding member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Vienna and the founder and leader of one of the largest Girl Scout troops in Trumbull County. She also was a volunteer with Hospice and was coordinator of the soup kitchen at St. Vincent dePaul's.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Clara was united into marriage with Dr. John J. Damiani on Sept. 1, 1952, and they shared 50 years together.
Her memory will be remembered and celebrated by those she dearly leaves behind, her husband, Dr. John J. Damiani; sons, John L. (Muna) Damiani of Dearborn, Mich., and James A. (Alyssa) Damiani of Solon; daughters, Mary Anne (Tom) Berryman of Orland Parl, Ill., and Denise (Allen) Weaver of Strongsville; and nine grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Matthew, Denis, Katie, Anthony, Joey, Marcelino and Gabriella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Vienna. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren before the funeral Mass. Officiating will be the Rev. Denis Bouchard.
Burial will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
