SHARON, Pa. - Betty M. Woodside, 90, formerly of Warren, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Julian, Pa., the daughter of Albert and Mabel Stanton Kyler.
She was married to Franklin Earl Woodside, who preceded her in death on July 2, 1981.

Betty was a former member of First Assembly of God Church in Warren, where she worked in the Warren Christian Pre-School.
Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Betty Marie Saltzmann of Columbia, Tenn., and Darlene (Chuck) Lawrence of Lordstown; nine grandchildren, Brett (Holly) Lawrence, Cherie (Sam) Roe, Jeremy (Becky) Bowles, Jodie Black, Jessica Bowles, and Allen, Mike, Raymond and Marlin Saltzmann; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, William (Jean) Kyler of Spencer, N.Y., and two sisters, Mickey (Harry) Gray of Painted Post, N.Y., and Alyce Ann (Clint) Pentz of Waynesboro, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by three sons, Franklin and William Woodside and Terry L. Bowles; two sisters, Ethel Hall and Annabelle Morgan; and two grandchildren, Deborah Disbro and James Bowles.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Derek Boivin will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service.
