WARREN - Peter Sandor, 86, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Renaissance North Health Care Center in Warren.
Peter was born March 28, 1926, in Warren, the son of Peter and Mary Nemec Sandor.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Copperweld Steel in 1980 after 37 years.
Mr. Sandor is survived by his wife of 68 years, Laura Huffman Sandor; one son, Timothy J. (Debbie) Sandor of Champion; one daughter, Cynthia K. (Rick) Bartunek of Warren; four grandchildren, Tim (Brittany), Chris (Dana), Bryan (Kristin) and Lauren; and four great-grandchildren, Derek, Riann, Talyia and Mason.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Frank, a sister, Mary, and a great-granddaughter, Cayleigh.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roberts-Clark Chapel, Lane Family Funeral Home, 180 Garfield Drive N.E., Warren, OH 44483. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
