Tribune Chronicle |

YOUNGSTOWN - A 35-year-old man charged with the kidnapping and abduction of his 3-year-old son surrendered to the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office today.

A county deputy confirmed that Robert Partridge turned himself in about 5:30 p.m. at the county jail. The deputy said Partridge is expected to be arraigned Monday or Tuesday. He said he could not confirm the whereabouts of Partridge's son, Logan. Initial reports indicated the boy was unharmed and was to be united with his mother.

Law enforcement officials say Partridge, who has addresses in Canton, Warren and Austintown, was supposed to give his son to the boy's mother last month, but instead disappeared with the child.

A deputy said the young boy was reunited with his mother today.
