Helen W. Polidori 1923-2012

NEWTON FALLS - Helen W. Polidori, 89, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Windsor House Omni Health Care Center.

On June 30, 1923, in Coal Center, Pa., Michael and Mary Catalinis Vosvello welcomed the birth of their daughter, Helen.

On Oct. 31, 1941, Reo Polidori and Helen Vosvello were united in marriage. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1998, after 56 years of marriage.

Helen resided in the area since 1949 and was formerly of Coal Center. She worked at Packard Electric for 30 years as an inspector, retiring from her duties in 1973.

Helen was an active parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church. She belonged to Newton Falls Hobby Hunters and, in her spare time, she enjoyed painting ceramics and canvasses as well as sewing and gardening.

Cherished memories of Helen will be carried on by her daughter, Rhea Christopher of McDonald; grandchildren, Joseph Christopher of Austintown and Niki Feltner of Poland; great-grandchildren, Amber (Anthony) Chuppa and Joe Christopher, both of Niles, and James Feltner and Sara Feltner, both of Poland; and great-great-grandchildren, Nevach, Lyam and Bryson.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Anthony, Eddie and Enoch Vosvello; and sisters, Bernice Jocz, Stella Vosvello and Josephine Schlear.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Borowski Memorial Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary and St. Joseph Church.

Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Reo, in Newton Township Cemetery following services.
