YOUNGSTOWN - A man who pleaded guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter with a firearm specification in 2008 asked a judge today to be released from prison early.

Lamar Hough, 25, who last had an address on South Truesdale Avenue, was charged for the October 2007 shooting death of Elmer Antonio Avilez-Landaverde, who was found shot to death in the backyard of home on Shehy Street in what police said was a robbery.

He was sentenced by former Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge Timothy Franken in October 2008 when he entered his plea.
