LAKELAND, Fla. - Dale Charles Boles, 81, formerly of Warren, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to pneumonia.
He was born March 5, 1931, in Bethel, Pa., the son of Kermet and Edith Boles.
He moved to Lakeland, Fla., in 1989 from Warren. He was a retired millwright for General Motors, attended the First United Methodist Church of Auburndale, Fla., and was a Life Member of the VFW.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly; a daughter, Lisa Kain of Auburndale, Fla.; a son, David Boles of Hendersonville, N.C.; a brother, Raymond Boles; a half-brother, James Metzger; and four grandchildren, Erik, Alison, Ricky and Sara.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Boles.
In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations in his memory to the American Alzheimer's Association.
