SHOW TO HELP BETTY'S ANGELS: A fashion show, An Angel's Christmas to Remember, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Roby Lees, 425 Ridge Road, Newton Falls. The event will include a Chinese auction, silent auction and 50-50, with all proceeds to benefit Betty's Angels, which provides a home for children who either don't have a home or live in a troubled environment. FOUNDATION HELPS FOOD BANK: The Grainger Foundation has donated $10,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley in support of the fourth annual McDonald Lions Club 5K Feed the Need Run and Fun Walk.
JINGLE BELL BASH KICKS OFF DISPLAY: Holiday Trees of the Valley will be displayed Friday and Saturday at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown.
The Jingle Bell Bash for adults is 7 to 11 p.m. Friday with live and silent auctions, along with a drawing for a $1,000 cash prize. Cost is $75 per person.
Santa Claus will visit from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday with craft and activity stations, face painting, a photo booth and gifts for children. Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and younger and includes breakfast. Decorated trees, wreaths and holiday decorations donated by area businesses will be available to buy. A Best in Show award will be presented.
