CORTLAND - Viola G. Crouch, 94, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at her home.
She was born June 9, 1918, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Leander and Margaret Stevens Gray.
A long-time Cortland resident, Mrs. Crouch was formerly of Champion. She retired from Copperweld Steel as a secretary; and she formerly owned and operated a real estate agency for several years in Champion. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crafts, and a variety of needlework. Mrs. Crouch married Leo W. Crouch on Oct. 29, 1938.

She is survived by her son, Ronald L. (Gayle) Crouch, of Gaithersburg, Md.; and four grandchildren, Stacey Grines, Richard Crouch, Robert Crouch and R. Bradford Crouch.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 26, 2004. She is also preceded by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held noon Wednesday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman. Burial will follow in Johnston Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services Wednesday. An online guestbook is available at www.baumgardnerfuneralhome.com.
