Tribune Chronicle |

BOARDMAN - A Warren city police officer jailed in Mahoning County since last weekend is expected to be released today, according to his attorney.

Jeffrey Miller, of Mineral Ridge, appeared in Boardman Court today after spending a week at the Mahoning County Jail. He was given credit for five days served.

His attorney, Lynn Sfara Bruno, said Miller is expected to appear in court again for a hearing on a complaint that he violated probation. According to Mahoning County Court records, he was taken into custody Nov. 15.

In 2011, the Ohio State Patrol charged him with operating a vehicle under the influence. Initially he pleaded not guilty, but later pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.

In September, the court found that Miller failed to comply with a court order issued March 20.
