WARREN - Reta M. Russell, 87, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Gillette Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Wallace, W.Va., a daughter of the late Van Buren Leigh and the late Bertha M. Bollinger Leigh.
She worked for Polson Rubber in Garettsville, and was also an Avon representative for many years.

She was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church.
Reta enjoyed golfing, bowling, and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret A. (James) Elmore of Southington and Sandra J. Harmon of Westerville; grandchildren, James Elmore Jr., Mike (Shelley) Russell, Eric (Elyse) Elmore, Megan Harmon, and Rebecca Harmon; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Russell, and Cameron and Evan Elmore; and siblings, Gene Salley of Marietta, Patricia (Larry) Stoll of Marshallville, Paul Leigh of Ravenna and Cecil Leigh of Newton Falls.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Russell Jr., whom she married Nov. 6, 1943, and who preceded her June 18, 1989; and siblings, Freda Swaggert, Violet Ritenour, and Jack, Curtis, Harry, Forrest and Herbert Leigh.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Michael Garrison will officiate.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Interment will be in Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Township.
