NILES - James E. Pirigyi Sr., 62, 106 Clover St., died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in his home.
He was born Feb. 28, 1950, in Warren, the son of John and Bertie Harris Pirigyi, and was a member of St. Stephen Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and worked for RMI.
Survivors include a son, James E. Jr. of Niles; brothers, Robert W. Sr. of Niles and Andy, formerly of Niles; and sisters, Joyce M. Crank of Niles, Suzanne Irvine of Warren and Bonnie Ferro of Cortland.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral services were held at Niles City Cemetery, with burial in the veterans section.
Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home handled the arrangements.
