WARREN Police continue to question two suspects in connection to a Sunday morning shooting in Warren in which a city man died.
Names of the suspect have not be released, nor have charges been filed. Police said questioning will continue throughout the evening.
City officers said Marco Dukes, 32, of 866 Swallow St., Warren, died at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland shortly after being transported there by helicopter.
Warren police detective Mike Stabile investigates the shooting scene in a parking lot off Elm Court in Warren. Yellow markers show were some of the 37 spent casings were found. One man is dead and another remains in the hospital.
Another man reported to be involved in the shooting, Larry Smith, 29, 2305 Jackson St. S.W., remained at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where he was being treating for his wounds.
According to reports, gunfire broke out in the area of 166 Elm Court N.E., between Market and High streets, just before 10:30.
Initially, witnesses reported that possibly four people had been shot. Early on officers said they believed three men were injured.
Officers said they believe more than 40 shots were fired. The home at 166 Elm Court has been roped off with police tape.
