YOUNGSTOWN - The National Research Corporation recognized St. Elizabeth Health Center as the 2012-13 Consumer Choice Award winner in the Youngstown market.
For the eighth consecutive year, health care consumers rated St. Elizabeth's quality and image above all others.
The award identifies hospitals that health care consumers have chosen as having the highest quality and image in more than 300 markets throughout the U.S.
The company surveys more than 250,000 households representing more than 450,000 consumers in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. From the households surveyed, 3,200 hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on their Core Based Statistical Areas as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with the winning facilities being ranked the highest.
