VETERANS TO CONDUCT PARADE: The Girard Veterans Council will conduct Veterans Day services in the City of Girard on Nov. 11.
The parade will form in the Boardman Medical Supply parking lot at the corner of Broadway and Market, and step off at 10:30 a.m. The parade will march south on Market to Liberty and west on Liberty to the bridge, where a wreath service will be held with the Veterans Council Honor Guard giving a rifle salute and the Girard Band playing the national anthem.
The parade will regroup and march east on Liberty to High, north on High to Main and east on Main to the War Memorial in front of City Hall for another wreath ceremony.
Mayor James Melfi will be the main speaker.
MISSION PREPARING FOR MEAL: The Warren Family Mission is preparing for its Community Thanksgiving Meal by accepting donations of turkeys, boxed stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, green beans, corn, items for salad, fruit punch and assorted pies.
The dinner will take place noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at the 361 Elm Road location. Items can be dropped off at that location.

4-H CLUB SEEKS MEMBERS: The Trumbull County 4-H program has a youth club focused on teaching children how to scrapbook. Youth learn the fundamentals of preserving photos. Participants learn hands-on activities lead by volunteers. The Ohio 4-H Program is a volunteer lead program for youth ages 5 to 17.
The 4-H scrapbooking club called Cortland Memory Books meets at the Trumbull Family and Agricultural Education center in Cortland, 520 W. Main St.
