YOUNGSTOWN -- A Cornado Avenue man who was found on a North Side sidewalk Tuesday evening is the city's 24th homicide of the year.
Darnell Green Jr., 21, was found shot at 142 Roslyn Drive after police answered a shots fired call about 9:20 p.m.
Neighbors saw the body and pointed it out to officers when they arrived, reports state.
Last year, the city had 23 homicides.
