WARREN - Veldon L. "Pete" Patterson Sr., 82, died at his residence Monday, Oct. 29, 2012.
Veldon was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Bryan, the son of Clarence H. and Treva Steward Patterson.
He retired from Cleveland Steel Container Corp. as a lithographer.
Besides his wife, Mildred J. Patterson, Veldon is survived by his sons, Veldon L. Jr. of Crestview, Fla., and Michael J. of Belmont; his daughters, Cherie Hindman of St. Clairsville and Teri Lyn Paskel of Howland; sisters, Marcilene Brewster of North Port, Fla., Barbara Barber of Bryan, Doris Ziessler of Bellefontaine, Linda Hulbert of Bryan, Beverly Lorntz of Pleasant Lake, Ind., and Patricia Smith of Bryan; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Services will take place at noon Thursday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
