WARREN - It appears as if some people have been allowed to leave a northeast side home that is the scene of an apparent standoff.
According to scanner traffic, three people were leaving the house and being put in squad cars moments ago. It is unclear whether they have been harmed in any way or whether they will be charged with anything.
According to police, a Maurice Bryant is in the house in the 100 block of Kenmore Avenue N.E. He apparently fired a shot at someone who tried to repossess his car.
About an hour ago, police set up a "loose" perimeter and shut down Kenmore from Montclair to East Market streets.
A nearby doctor's office also has been evacuated.
More details as they come in.
