INDIANA, Pa. - Johanna F. "Honey" Weiss, 90, formerly of Warren, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the Communities at Indian Haven in Indiana, Pa.
She was born June 7, 1922, in Farrell, Pa., the daughter of George and Mary Roth Gartner Sr.
Johanna was employed at Plaza View III in Warren as assistant resident manager prior to moving to Indiana, Pa. and previously worked for 15 years in the Pro-Shop at Tamer Win Golf Course in Cortland.

Johanna was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Warren. She enjoyed baking, bingo, crafts and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. (Greg) Gresco of Penn Run, Pa.; her grandson, Jason (Jessica) Gresco of West Middlesex, Pa.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret "Marti" Redmond of Pinellas Park, Fla.
Her husband, Albert J. Weiss Sr., whom she married Oct. 15, 1938, preceded her in death in 1975. Her son, Albert J. Weiss Jr., three brothers and four sisters also have preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
