LIBERTY- Janet C. Keith, 78, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Girard, the daughter of Charles Tippet and Roberta Dixon Fisher.
After graduating from Liberty High School in 1952, she worked at the Youngstown Jet Air Base.

Janet left the area after her marriage in 1955 and spent the next 18 years living in numerous places in the United States and in Germany with her children and former husband, U.S. Air Force Major Robert M. Keith. Janet returned to Liberty in 1973 and went to work for the IRS, holding various positions until her retirement as a revenue agent in 1994.
Janet loved golfing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her long-time partner, Louis A. Lucia of Warren; daughters, Katherine (David Nelsen) Keith of Pittsburgh and Sallie Keith of Lakewood; sister, Sallie F. Warden of Hadley, Pa.; and grandsons, Michael and James Nelsen.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church Hill United Methodist Church. Family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
