John W. Pinion 1955-2012

RAVENNA - John W. Pinion, 57, died at 11:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at University Hospital in Cleveland due to a cardiac arrest.

He was born Aug. 23, 1955, in Ravenna, the son of William and Mary Pinion.

John was a 1973 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He had been in car sales for the last 38 years, recently at Charles Chevrolet dealership in Garrettsville. John enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, playing cards and riding motorcycles. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Indians.

Survivors include his parents of Warren; his wife, Lisa Sidells Pinion of Ravenna; two daughters, Alison A. and Michelle M. Pinion; one sister, Mary Lyn Pinion of Niles; one brother, Mark Pinion of Warren; a brother-in-law, Scott Sidells of Champion; his nephews and niece, Daniel and Michael Boich, Jesse and Ben Palmer and Jeanine Sidells; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483. A funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James P. Walker officiating.
