Marla Kay Hudak 1961-2012

AMHERST - Marla Kay Hudak, 51, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at EMH Regional Medical Center from pneumonia.

She was born May 22, 1961, in Ravenna, the daughter of Frances Arlene Apple and Gerald Edison Apple Sr.

She worked at Swagelok Corp. in Solon and was a member of First Baptist Church of Elyria.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Joseph; her mother, Frances Arlene Apple of Bradenton, Fla.; her brothers, Gerald E. "Jay" Apple of Garrettsville, Kent K. Apple of Hampton, Va., and Mark H. Apple of Garrettsville; her sisters, Beverly A. Musgrove of Garrettsville and Elizabeth E. Maynard of Newton Falls; her stepdaughters, Michelle Lynne Morelock of Ashburn, Ga., and Amy Elizabeth Hudak of Bradner; and four stepgrandchildren.

Marla was preceded in death by her father.

Friends and relatives will be received from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Elyria, where services will follow at 3:30 p.m.

A committal service and burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Arrangements are being handled by Walter A. Frey Funeral Home.
