CHARDON -- The trial of an Ohio teenager charged in a school shooting rampage that killed three students has been delayed until Jan. 14 while his attorneys prepare an insanity defense.
The trial of 18-year-old T.J. Lane had been scheduled for Nov. 26 in Chardon east of Cleveland, but a judge has now pushed back the trial at the request of Lane's attorneys.
Defense attorney Ian Friedman confirmed the postponement to The Associated Press on Monday and the judge's staff said he expects to sign an order this week with the new trial date.
