I was listening to the presidential debate when someone asked about the killing of our diplomats and who denied the extra protection. I was really anxious to see what the answer would be, but the president went every which way around the question without an answer. That is really a shame the people can't get an honest answer from the president of the U.S.A.
Since the topic seems to be on jobs and the economy right now, I would like to know what the 80,000 soldiers will do when Obama downsizes our military. Where will they get jobs when they are forced out? Our troops have laid their lives on the line for this country, the one Michelle Obama said for the first time she could be proud of, and this is what they deserve, the unemployment line?
I agree the economy is in bad shape right now but I also believe there is another important question: When Obama ran in 2008, what did he mean by "hope and change?'' We live in a free capitalist country where we can do pretty much anything we want to make our dreams come true, so why would we want to change that? He really never explained that at all but he's asking Romney to explain everything that comes out of his mouth.
I must admit I'm leary of a guy who says we are not a Christian nation, is pro death, (after all isn't death the opposite of life) and bows down to other world leaders. He came out of nowhere and he's our president?
This election is more than jobs, it's the future of the U.S.A. as we have known it for our entire lives. He doesn't care about all of us as he has shown with his Obamacare. Some unions and states can opt out, as I have read and of course, the Congress and Senate. If it's so good, why doesn't everyone have to have it?
I'm afraid if he gets in, our "God Bless America" will be changed to "God Have Mercy on America."
