WARREN - Nellie Marchionte, 88, died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born March 27, 1924, in Warren, the daughter of Gabriel and Mary DiCantio Laprocina.
Nellie was employed for 20 years as a waitress at Cafe 422 and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Marchionte of Providence, R.I., and Gabriel Marchionte of McDonald; a brother, Nick Laprocina of Warren; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Louis Marchionte, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles.
The family will receive friends immediately after the Mass.
