YOUNGSTOWN - Police say a man was shot several times at Kensington and Bissell avenues on the North Side about 11:50 a.m. today.
A spokesman said 911 call takers could hear screaming in the background and that someone was in a car before the man, who was outside, was shot.
Police found eight spent shell casings at the scene.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
