Courtney Shea Pilch and Capt. Vito Joseph Abruzzino were united in marriage on July 13, 2012, at Casa Ybel Resort at a sunset beach side ceremony in Sanibel Island, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Louis and Robin Pilch of Salem. Parents of the groom are John and Phyllis Abruzzino of Niles.
A family dinner followed the ceremony at the Thistle Lodge at Casa Ybel Resort.

A reception was held in September at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
The new Mrs. Abruzzino is a graduate of Salem High School. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Mount Union and a master of arts degree in school counseling from Walsh University. She is employed as a school counselor at Boardman Glenwood Middle School.
Capt. Abruzzino graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and also from West Virginia University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in history and a doctor of jurisprudence degree. He is employed as a judge advocate general for the United States Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
Following a honeymoon in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Columbiana.
