McDONALD - Shirley J. Gonze, 78, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Hospice House.
Shirley was born June 1, 1934, in Girard, the daughter of William and Leona Deets Holmes.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene D. Gonze; one son, Eugene D. Jr. of Pinckney, Mich.; one daughter, Elaine Cox of McDonald; three sisters, Margie of McDonald, Bonnie Shepherd of Mineral Ridge and Doreen Shiley of McDonald; and two grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers.
Her family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McClurkin Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday.
Burial will be at Girard City Cemetery.
