CEMETERY WALK PLANNED: The Newton Township Cemetery Association will hold a cemetery walk from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the East Cemetery, North Canal Street, Newton Falls. More than 30 various war soldiers and veterans will be highlighted by historian Wendell F. Lauth.
Also highlighted will be a few of Newton Falls' former prominent citizens. The event will include re-enactors, war artifacts in the chapel and the McFarland antique hearse. Admission is free.
The event will also include an update on what the association has been doing.
ASSOCIATION TO HOST OPEN HOUSE: The Leavittsburg Historical Association holds its monthly open house at 2 p.m. the third Sunday of each month at the society's museum, 4901 W. Market St.
WGH JUNE CLASS OF 1947 TO MEET: The Warren G. Harding High School June Class of 1947 will hold its 65-year class reunion on Saturday at Enzo's Restaurant, Elm Road, Warren. Registration will be at noon, with payment expected. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m.

SCHOOL PRESENTS MUSICAL: Chaney Middle School drama department will present the musical ''Hey Li'l Red!" at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Oct. 18. The one-act musical is an original musical based on the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood.

GIRARD SETS CLEANUP: Fall cleanup at the Girard City Cemetery has been scheduled through Oct. 19 for pulling flowers and cleaning graves. After that date, employees will be removing any plants on graves in preparation for the upcoming holiday wreaths.
