WARREN - Ernest R. "Pete" Leasure Sr., 81, of Warren, died at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 14, 1931, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of the late Chester and Ethel Crise Leasure.
He was a high school graduate of 1950 and was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, being honorably discharged as a sergeant. He then went on to work at Republic Steel and then Packard Electric, retiring in 1992 as a machine repairman after 22 years of service.

Mr. Leasure was also a member of the Hayfield Assembly of God Church in Hayfield, Va. He enjoyed motorcycling and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, the former Bernal Fay Orndorff, whom he married on Christmas day, 1951; his three children, Ernest R. "Pete" (Sherry) Leasure Jr. of Bristolville, James Leasure (Kevin Curtis) of Columbus and Lesa Finney of Warren; seven grandchildren, Tony (Sarah) Leasure, Abby (Dan) LaValliere, Katie (Jim) Ross, Brian (Cindy) Snyder, Heather (Brian) Mease, Terry Finney and Cariann (David) Novotny; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Leasure of Belle Vernon, Pa.
Other than his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his two brothers, Chester and Edgar Leasure.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Tal Lewis will celebrate Pete's life.
Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Sager Memorial Park in Bristolville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Warren Family Mission, 361 Elm Road N.E., Warren, OH 44481, in his memory.
