John and Inge Stevens celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 22, 2012, with a dinner party at Cafe 422 in Warren.
They have four children, Janette (John) Carson of Belmont, Sean (Gloria) of New York, Bob (Shelli) of Howland and John (Denise) of Niles.
John was a career serviceman and retired from the military in 1979 after doing four tours in Germany and one year in Vietnam. He retired from Delphi Packard Electric in 2007.

Mr. and Mrs. Stevens enjoy traveling extensively and supporting their six grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren in competitions and sporting events around the area. They spend their winter months in North Fort Myers, Fla., and also regularly visit with family in Germany.
