WARREN - The tastes of many delicious desserts and treats will be part of the Rotary Club of Warren's eighth annual Chocolate Festival being held Wednesday at the Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W.

Danette Palmer, event co-chair, said chocolate lovers will enjoy the night's events, which kick off at 6 p.m.

People will be able to sample delicious treats from Daffin's Candies, Just Pizzelles, Albert Guarnieri and Company, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Boy Scouts of America, Cake Boutique, Sam's Club, Scentsy Velata Chocolate Fondue, Tables of Temptations and others, she said.

The event also will include a wine tasting by Winestyles, an Oktoberfest beer tasting, a silent auction, Chinese auction and 50 / 50 raffle.

Proceeds from the event benefit the YWCA of Warren, Palmer said. Last year's event hosted a crowd of 400 guests and raised $10,000, she said.

Cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple or $10 for youth 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased from any Warren Rotarian, or by calling Packard Music Hall at 330-841-2931 or visiting the online box office at packardmusichall.com. Tickets also will be available at the door.
