WARREN - Lula Seals Lemons, 89, of 1341 Blakely Circle, died at 9:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center following a brief illness.
She was born March 17, 1923, in Laurel, Miss., the daughter of Mandel Lowe and Ada Seals.
Mrs. Lemons worked for Slabaugh Nursing Home as a nurse's aide, and attended First Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Lemons of Warren; two daughters, Jeanetta A. Chatmon of Warren and Beverly Wells of Niles; 11 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis; a son, Otis Lemons Jr.; two bro-thers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church in Mesopotamia, where friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will also receive friends at the home of her daughter, 1447 Kensington St. S.W.
Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
