BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Floyd L. McKinney, 56, formerly of Warren, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. A cause of death is pending.
He was born Dec. 15, 1955, in Battle Creek, the son of Floyd Larry McKinney Sr. and Rosie Lee Jenkins.
Floyd served in the U.S. Army and was employed with General Motors.
Survivors include a son, Larry Crosswright of North Carolina; three daughters, Nicole Mann of Battle Creek, Keyamonicha Clopton of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Tyara Green of Detroit; two brothers, LeRoy McKinney and Alphonso "Scott" McKinney, both of Battle Creek; three sisters, Elizabeth "Jody" Fisher, Dorothy Jones and Linda "Tina" McKinney, all of Battle Creek; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service in Battle Creek, where the family will receive friends for an hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
