CLARK, Pa. - Ralph E. Hoyt Jr., 78, of 12 Nora St., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, Pa., of complications from surgery.
Mr. Hoyt was born March 25, 1934, in Canton, the son of Ralph E. Sr. and Margaret Findley Hoyt.
Ralph was employed locally by Bell Telephone.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra Bindas of Leesburg, Va.; two sons, Raymond Hoyt of San Dimas, Calif., and Bill Hoyt, at home; a stepdaughter, Wendy Scheidemantle of Sharon, Pa.; a stepson, Scott Scheidemantle, at home; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolly Aho of Warren; and his former wife, the former Donna Genger.
Besides his wife, the former Nancy A. Alfredo, he was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage, Pa.
