MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Shirley Marie Plesea, 85, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, after enduring metastatic breast cancer.
Born Shirley Marie Giddings, a native of Warren, she and her surviving husband of 66 years, Alexander, retired to Florida in 1989.
She leaves behind three sons, Daniel of Fort Meyers, Fla., Gary of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Rick of Murfressboro, Tenn.; a daughter, Cynthia Anthony of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Mary Lou Lillicotch of Virginia; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma Lucille Giddings; a brother, Robert Giddings; a sister, Anne Markle; and a great-granddaughter, Caylee Marie.
There will be no services or calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Arrangements were handled by the National Cremation Society in Oviedo, Fla.
