NILES - Wanda Lee Bean, 87, of Gypsy Lane, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 in Vibra Hospital, Warren.
Wanda was born May 22, 1925, in Rock Creek, the daughter of J. Russell and Janette Mae Brown Lloyd.
A 1943 of graduate of Newton Falls High School, she had also attended the former Youngstown College, Penn Ohio College and the Trumbull Business College.

She had been employed in the accounting department of the Union Savings and Trust Co., American Welding, the Ohio Corrugating Corp., Luxaire Cushion Co., and retired in 1987 from the dietary department of Warren General Hospital after 8 years of service.
A member of Niles First Baptist Church for the past 43 years, she was a member of the Church's Ladies Missionary Society and the Class of Deborah.
She enjoyed playing the piano and attending all of the church activities.
She was preceded in death on May 31, 1984, by her husband, Herbert Ray Bean, whom she married April 3, 1965. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Atkin.
She is survived by several friends, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial, with the Rev. David A. Berman Jr. officiating.
Friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
