YOUNGSTOWN - Nettie H. Jenkins, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Jenkins was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of the Rev. Samuel P. and Laura Coleman Phillips.
She retired from Community Action Council Senior Program and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Gregory Snead of Warren; two granddaughters; a grandson; a great-grandson; and a brother, James Phillips of Youngstown.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
