FOWLER - Howard D Scheidegger, 94, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Concord Care of Cortland.
He was born Dec. 4, 1917, in Fowler, the son of Harlan and Alerta Scheidegger.
Howard was a retired bus driver and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Cole Scheidegger.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland, where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will be at Dugan Cemetery.
