SUNBURY - Thomas Franklin Bower, 95, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at his daughter's home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1916, in Gustavus, the son of James Stanley and Vera Elizabeth Semler Bower.
Mr. Bower had worked for Packard Electric in Warren. He was a member of Murdock Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Survivors include three children, Thomas J. and Marilyn J. Clark, both of Sunbury, and Raymond L. of Leeds, Utah; four stepchildren, Ruth Ann Philbrick of Chesterland, and Marie H. Logan, Katherine J. Pease and David Hall, all of Gustavus; a sister, Donna M. Hruska of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth M. Reese Bower; his second wife, Mary A. Thompson Hall Bower; his son, Donald Dwayne Bower; one brother; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service in Kinsman.
Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery.
