WARREN - Councilman John Brown Jr., D-3rd Ward, will host a public meeting to address seven pieces of bond legislation the city is considering. The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E.

Brown said wants residents to ask questions and express their concerns about the pending legislation, which addresses several key projects, including a proposed one stop government building.

The projects address several budget issues concerning the city's infrastructure and finances, and are to be included a $24.5 million bond issue the administration has proposed.

Brown said he plans to hold the meeting despite the administration's announcement last week to present council with an alternative plan that would include moving forward with some items while placing others, such as the proposed one stop, on hold.
