NORTH LIMA - Lillian D. McElrath, 81, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center following an extended illness.
She was born April 1, 1931, in Reynolds, Ga., the daughter of Johnie E. and Louise Lowe Duncan.
She retired from St Joseph Health Center and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Lanier McElrath Jr. of Clovis, N.M.; a daughter, Marshell L. Freeman of Youngstown; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lanier McElrath Sr.; five brothers; and five sisters.
A service of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Second Baptist Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Entombment will take place in Pineview Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by Sibley-Murray-Ferebee Funeral Home.
