DALLAS - Jerome "Jerry" Herman Armstrong III, 24, formerly of Bristolville, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas after a long battle with leukemia.
He was born July 28, 1988, in Norfolk, Va., the son of Jerry Jr. and Mary Armstrong.
Jerry was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to his wife, Mackenzie Armstrong of Fort Worth, Texas, he is survived by his mother of Sheffield Lake; his father of Champion; and brothers, Jeff Armstrong of Sheffield Lake and Nick Armstrong of Champion.
A memorial service will be held noon Saturday at Oak River Church, 32405 Aurora Road, Solon.
