NILES - Jean L. Williams, 89, of Tripodi Circle, passed away at 11:13 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at her residence.
Jean was born Oct. 10, 1922, the daughter of Ward R. and Nellie Walters Williams Sr.
She was employed by the former Packard Electric, retiring in 1985, with more than 25 years of service. She had also been employed by the former Miracle Market and the former Calladine and Cole Grocery store.

She enjoyed travel, visiting Hawaii, Alaska, the Bahamas and numerous car trips to Florida. She also enjoyed floral gardening.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Williams; a brother, Ward Richard Williams Jr.; two nephews, Ward Richard III and Richard David "Dickie" Williams; and a niece, Odesta Louise Williams, and a great-nephew.
She is survived by four nieces, Mary Gwen Nicholas, with whom she made her home, Barbara J. Haynie of Vienna, Joann Williams of Niles and Louella Dee Williams-Davis of Howland; two nephews, Thomas Lyle Williams and Jeffrey A. Williams, both of Niles, and numerous great- nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home with the Rev. Allan McCracken officiating.
Friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
